Group Philosophy
The parish Light of the World Retreat provides time away from the busy-ness of daily life to examine your
relationship with the Lord. It enables retreatants to encounter Christ in a personal way, renew sacramental gifts
and graces, and evaluate where they are in their walk with the Lord, and where they would like to be. Retreats
generally begin on Friday evening and end Sunday night, with participants going home during the evening each night. There
is also an opportunity to form a faith sharing group in order to build on the retreat experience and continue to grow
in the Lord. Retreats are led by trained parishioners, and are a great way to get to know others at St. Joseph's!
