Jesus is taken down from the Cross.
V. We adore You, O Christ, and we praise you.
R. Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Dear Jesus,
You suffered and died on the cross for us and Mary
also suffered too. Help us offer our sufferings to you. Amen.

Jesus is buried.

R. Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Lord Jesus Christ, You were crucified and buried, but on the third day You rose from the dead, in fulfillment of the scriptures. Because You are our Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, who lives and reigns forever and ever, You suffered for us and died for our sins. I love you with all my heart and soul because by dying you gave me life.
