Serving the Parish Through Leadership and Stewardship
St. Joseph Parish is blessed with a variety of councils and committees that help guide our mission, support parish operations, and foster community involvement. These groups are composed of dedicated parishioners who offer their time and talents in service to Christ and His Church.
Parish Councils
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council advises the pastor on the spiritual and pastoral needs of the parish. Members help shape the vision and direction of parish life, ensuring that our ministries reflect the Gospel and serve the community effectively.
Parish Council
This council supports parish-wide initiatives, coordinates with ministry leaders, and promotes stewardship and evangelization efforts. It plays a key role in fostering unity and collaboration across all areas of parish life.
Finance Council
The Finance Council oversees the parish’s financial health, including budgeting, stewardship campaigns, and long-term planning. Members ensure responsible use of resources and transparency in financial matters.
Committees and Ministries
Stewardship Committee
This committee encourages parishioners to share their time, talent, and treasure. It organizes the annual stewardship renewal and promotes active participation in parish life.
Altar Society
All women of the parish are members of the Altar Society, which supports the care of the altar and sanctuary, hosts parish events, and participates in diocesan and national Catholic women’s initiatives. Activities include card parties, Advent dinners, funeral luncheons, and more.
Environment & Art Committee
This team enhances the worship space through seasonal decorations and liturgical art, helping create a reverent and beautiful atmosphere for prayer.
Giving Tree Ministry
Coordinates seasonal outreach efforts, including the Christmas Giving Tree, which provides gifts and support to families in need.
Knights of Columbus
A fraternal organization of Catholic men dedicated to charity, unity, and faith. The Knights support parish events, charitable works, and vocations.
Mary, Queen of Peace Rosary & Prayer Shawls
This ministry creates prayer shawls and leads rosary initiatives to support those experiencing illness, grief, or hardship.
Parish Health Ministry
Promotes wellness and provides health-related resources to parishioners, including blood pressure checks and educational materials.
Retreat House Bed Makers
Volunteers help prepare the parish retreat house for guests, ensuring a welcoming and peaceful environment.
St. Cajetan Career & Employment Ministry
Supports parishioners in job transitions through networking, resume assistance, and prayer.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
Provides direct assistance to those in need through food, financial support, and compassionate outreach.
