Welcoming All as Christ Would
At St. Joseph Parish, hospitality is more than a warm greeting—it’s a way of life. We strive to reflect Christ’s love by creating a welcoming environment and reaching out to those in need, both within our parish and in the wider community.
Hospitality Ministries
Greeters & Ushers
Our greeters and ushers extend a warm welcome to parishioners and visitors at every Mass. They assist with seating, distribute bulletins, and help maintain a reverent and organized worship space.
New Member Welcome Committee
This team helps new parishioners feel at home by providing welcome materials, hosting events, and connecting them with parish life.
PrimeTimers
A ministry for parishioners aged 50 and older, PrimeTimers offers monthly gatherings that include spiritual, educational, and social activities. It’s a great way to build friendships and stay engaged in parish life.
Care Notes Ministry
This ministry provides thoughtful literature in the Narthex to support individuals and families facing grief, stress, or life transitions.
Grief Ministry
Supporting families after the loss of a loved one, this ministry offers prayer, condolence cards, home visits, and a Remembrance Mass.
Meals Ministry
Volunteers prepare and deliver meals to parishioners during times of illness, recovery, or family need, offering comfort and care through food and fellowship.
Widows’ Ministry
This group provides support and companionship to widowed parishioners through prayer, social events, and shared experiences.
Outreach Ministries
Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach
St. Joseph youth and adult volunteers serve meals at Matt Talbot Kitchen on the fourth Sunday of each month. Casserole donations and helping hands are always welcome.
Evangelization Efforts
We actively reach out to new parishioners, non-practicing Catholics, and those curious about the faith. Through OCIA, CCD, and parish events, we invite all to encounter Christ and grow in discipleship.
